redu currently compares prices from 5 stores in Moldova: Linella, Metro, Bonus, Mega Alina, and Alcomarket. More stores may be added over time.
What languages does redu support?
redu supports three languages: Romanian, Russian, and English. You can switch between them at any time - the entire interface, dates, and content update instantly.
How does price comparison work?
When you open a product, redu shows offers from every store that carries it - side by side. You see regular prices, discounted prices, discount percentages, and expiry dates. Filter by store, discount range, or price, then sort by lowest price or biggest discount.
How often are prices updated?
Prices and promotions are updated periodically from public store sources. The app also shows freshness indicators so you can see how recent the data is.
Does redu require an account?
No. redu works instantly without any sign-up or login. Your shopping list, favorites, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
How do price drop alerts work?
Save products to Favorites. When a favorite drops in price, it appears in the Price Drops tab with the old price, new price, and exact drop percentage. You can also turn on push notifications to get alerted even when the app is closed.
Can I filter by specific stores?
Yes. When comparing prices, you can filter results to show only offers from specific stores. This is useful if you prefer certain stores or want to compare just two competitors.
How does the Best Prices tab work?
When you build a cart, the Best Prices tab finds the cheapest store for each item across all supported retailers, splitting your cart for the lowest grand total. Each line shows where to buy at the lowest known price and highlights the savings vs. shopping at any single store.
Can I share my shopping list?
Yes! Tap the share button and your list is formatted as a clean, readable message. Send it via Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber, SMS, or any other messaging app on your phone.
How do I know if a discount is real?
Open the price history chart for any product. redu charts price history per (product, retailer): one trend line per store with the regular and discounted prices over time, plus explicit was/now deltas. If a store raised the regular price right before the promotion, you'll see it clearly on the chart.
Can I browse weekly store catalogs?
Yes. The Catalogs tab shows weekly store flyers with cover images and validity dates. Open any catalog to browse full-screen pages with zoom, or explore discounted products by category. Enable push notifications to hear about new catalogs sooner.
Can I share a deal with friends?
Yes. From any product, tap Share to send a formatted message with the product name, discount, and best price. It also includes a direct link (redu.md/deal/...) that opens the product in the app.
